Chit Su Khin' biography

I am Chit Su Khin from Manaung Township, Rakhine State of Myanmar. i had one older sister. I had a lot of challenges in my childhood due to the financial needs. Therefore, I lost focus on my education and kept going to school. My parents were not interested about my education because they had to work sunrise to dawn. When I was grade-3, I met a good teacher who treated me well. Then, she became an inspiring teacher for me and I started to study my lessons harder because of some of her motivation. When I was 10 years old, my father passed away. After that, my family move to Yangon and we start our life again.

My mother sold some snack and she supported me and my sister harder. When I was grade-6, my sister graduated. My mother and I were proud of her because she graduated in spite of many difficult times. When I passed grade-10 in 2017, I joined distance university but I didn’t know what I should do for my life. However, my cousin, Aung Myint Thu encouraged me to work with others and invited me to help his online English class as a volunteers. While helping him, I gained a lot of experience and knowledge from him. Later, he sent me to Bridge for all, an English school in Kayin State. I met various ethnicities at the school. Besides, I have joined his school, + Chang Maker (Youth Development and English School). Then, I got to know more Rakhine youths from nine different townships who come from conflict areas of Rakhine state in this school. And I am learning about Marketing subject and Japanese language more in this school. This school inspires me to study more and help my community.
